Celebrating 3 years since Beautiful Awakening!

WOW - time flies, doesn't it! It seems like just yesterday when we all checked up on http://www.stacieorrico.com/ to find a preview of Stacie's brand new song, I'm Not Missing You!

Beautiful Awakening is one of the most soulful, most stunning albums ever made - unfortunately the Beautiful Awakening era was cut short too soon with Stacie's departure from Virgin Records.

While we reflect on the beautiful music of Stacie's third album, we all sit and wait in anticipation for new material from our girl, and news on a new album, hopefully coming soon!

Stacie Blowin' Some Bubbles!

As we patiently await to hear from Stacie Orrico in regards to her upcoming fourth record, a new photo has surfaced, and I have to say that this is one of my most favourite photos of Stacie EVER! I'm not too sure if this is a photo from a new photoshoot or not, but Stacie looks so so pretty!

Enjoy, and keep checking So Stacie for all the latest on what's coming up next for our favourite singer!

New artist Hailey Morgan "inspired by Stacie Orrico"

We all know that Stacie Orrico has touched all of our lives with her wonderful music, and it's always great to hear fellow musicians acknowledging Stacie's amazing talent.

Pop-rocker Hailey Morgan, only 15 years old, sat down with Canada.com to talk about her new album, and she mentions Stacie Orrico as a main influence in her songwriting style.

Check it out here:

"Today, this emerging artist definitely has developed her own sound and style, but said her pop-rock music is inspired by female singer/songwriters including Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Stacie Orrico, and Mariah Carey - to name a few."

Did Jennifer Rostock plagiarise 'Stuck'?

Have German punk-rock band Jennifer Rostock been caught out for plagiarising Stacie's hit song 'Stuck'? The band released their new single 'Du willst mir an die Wäsche' this year, and listeners have picked up on the strikingly similar melody to the 2003 mainstream debut from Stacie. I definitely think it sounds similar, but watch the video below and judge for yourself:

Update from previous post! *UPDATED*

So, we were all a bit worried there with that previous post, weren't we! Well, never fear - the hard-working Dallas has got confirmation from recording studio buddy Cannon (see the Million Miles Away video) that Stacie music should be coming our way soon!

On Dallas' Stacie Orrico Twitter Fan Page (StacieO_News - FOLLOW IT!), Cannon tweeted:

"Hey guys! Well I'm not going to give up too many details especially w/o Stacie's consent. But she's up to a few things & has a lot going on. You guys should be hearing some awesome new music very, VERY [soon]! Stacie's been working on some HEAT! ;)"

We'll be keeping our eyes peeled in eager anticipation to hear from Stacie! :-D Can't wait!

Kevin Zavier speaks on new album front

So, StacieWorld.org is back online! Yay! Stacie World is a great Stacie fansite :-) StacieWorld got into contact with Kevin Zavier, from Creative Jenius, about the Light Years Apart (Million Miles Away) track, and doesn't bring us the news we were really looking for...:

"Stacie is not working on a new album it was a recording session to add vocals for a song which will probably be proposed to another artist."

While this is very sad news, it is also conflicting with what we've found out prior to this - remember, we got into contact with Jarvis Church a couple of months ago, who confirmed that she WAS working on a new record.

So, don't lose hope, fellow Stacie fans - hang in there, and we'll see what happens! :-)
