Very unfortunate news today - 'Oz the Musical', starring our very own Stacie has been cancelled due to financial difficulties! Very sad to hear! That means that USA Stacie fans will have to wait just that little bit more longer to see her perform.
I'll keep you updated on any developments with this story, but if this is definitive, then it looks like Stacie will hopefully have some time up her sleeve to concentrate on the new record :-)

Jordin Sparks A-Twitter About Stacie!
Jordin Sparks has took to her Twitter to post about her love of Miss Orrico's brilliant music through quoting 'Don't Look At Me'! Here's the posts:
"Don't look at me if youre looking for perfection...(cont)
don't look at me I will only let you down.
I do my best to point you in the right direction...
Don't look at me no no no. Don't look at me look at HIM
That quote was from an amazing singer Stacie Orrico. Look her up! I wasn't putting myself down, I was letting you know how I feel.
I know Stacie is a Christian singer...I grew up listening to her. As well as miss Rachael Lampa who is with me right now! :D"
It's great to see a singer like Jordin Sparks recognising Stacie's amazing talent! And the fact that Jordin was chilling with Rachael Lampa is awesome as well! A duet between Jordin and Stacie would be fantastic, I reckon!

Interview with Tristate...Stacie song shopped to Ciara earlier this year!
Courtesy of Dallas (you're THE MAN!), an interview with Tristate from Tristate Inventory Productions has surfaced on YouTube, dated in January this year - in the vid, Tristate mentions working with our girl Stacie, Jayms Madison and Cannon on a song, that was shopped to Ciara - I think he said the name of the song was 'Right'!
I really hope that Stacie will keep this song for herself, as Ciara obviously didn't take it because it's not on her new album 'Fantasy Ride'...
I'm really eager to hear this track - I reckon it'd be hot, as most of Ciara's songs are real uptempo R&B tracks.
Anyway, check out the vid below!

A Little Birdy Told Me...
Our gal Stacie has been collaborating in the studio with 'Soundwavve' just recently, according to a little birdy! I'm not too familiar with the work of Soundwavve, but go to http://www.soundwavve.com/ to find out more!
Moreover, Stacie has performed her first performance as Dorothy in Oz the Musical tonight! We hope that everyone who went had the time of their lives, as we await to hear stories of how it was and hopefully (fingers crossed) some photos, audio, visual or all of the above!
Remember, if you'd like to purchase tickets to Oz the Musical - just head to the tour dates section of So Stacie or go to http://www.ozthemusical.com/
UPDATE: According to a source who saw Oz the Musical when Diana DeGarmo was in it, a cast album IS available to purchase at the merchandise store at each venue - so people lucky enough to go, make sure you check this out to see if they've recorded a new cast album with Stacie's vocals, and let me know ASAP!
