Looks like Stacie got out at the right time...

So, we know Stacie left Virgin Records in 2007, presumably because of their lack of promotion and support for Stacie's stunning 2006 release, 'Beautiful Awakening'. Well, looks like Stacie DEFINITELY made the right decision - FOXNews.com is reporting that major record giant EMI (who own Virgin Records, along with Capitol Records - the label Stacie was signed to VERY briefly before leaving the label) are in a state of demise, and all the artists still signed to the label will be left in the dark! Scary stuff! This includes acts such as Coldplay, Norah Jones and KT Tunstall, as well as legendary music icons The Beatles and Kate Bush! I'm very relieved Stacie got out of EMI while she did - she definitely made the right move!

To look at the article, go here - Coldplay, Beatles Lose Leader

In the meantime, according to Stacie's management, the Creative Jenius Agency, Stace is still a free agent artist (meaning she's not yet signed to a particular label), but apparently is in talks with record labels for a home...we'll keep you all updated!
